He completed a pediatric residency at UCSD in 2004, and went on to finish a sports medicine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in 2005.

Swimming and Diving Head Coach Rob Herb on Jeff Cline:

"Jeff Cline was ahead of his time in the Patriot League. He was such a work horse and the results show it. From the 100 to the mile, Jeff was right there. Along with Ken Johns and others, they put LEHIGH right at the top of the Patriot League. He also proved that the key to LEHIGH is balance. After graduation, Jeff pursued his passion for medicine. Jeff is very deserving of this honor."
